Following confirmation of what we’ve been expecting for weeks now, West Yorkshire is finally entering Tier 3. And with it 80% of our pub customers. It’s going to be a tough winter for everyone, but for the hospitality sector in particular. Pubs have done everything asked of them to ensure they are COVID safe, have invested loads, and busted a gut to keep you safe and served. But Time is being called… after the weekend…
Now we are absolutely not calling for a mad rush to the bar. We encourage everyone to act resposibly and take care of themselves and those around them. However, in recognition that pubs across our region now have cellars full of beer that after Sunday may not be ale to serve, we’re encouraging anyone who’s after an Ilkley beer to support their local rather than buy online for the next few days. Many pubs will be offering takehome – heck, take a container and ask them to fill it perhaps?
Below is a list of pubs we’ve delivered to recently, who from Monday will be affected by the new restrictions. For many, despite offering “substantial meals”, this will make cask beer unsustainable (if you come across our beers anywhere not on this list, please let us know so we can update it!). Please support them if you can.
